Description
The Jameson Plate from Ukrainian manufacturer Lay Bottle is a work of art that combines aesthetics and ... a good cause. Ukrainian craftsmen created it from recycled glass bottles that they personally collected from bars, restaurants, and local residents in Zakarpattia, Ukraine. By creating tableware from "rescued" bottles, they are slowly but surely helping to clean up the Ukrainian region from pollution, allowing us to join in this noble activity too.
To create the Jameson Plate, the craftsmen "bake" the bottle in a muffle kiln at a temperature of 720 degrees or higher. The plate takes its shape under the weight of the bottle, which is why it is unique even among Lay Bottle's other tableware.
The glass plate makes a great gift for yourself, your loved ones, friends, or colleagues. Its original and attractive design, special and good story of creation, and practicality make this creation a gift that will not leave anyone indifferent. By the way, it will be a great addition to dishes both at home and in restaurants or bars. The Plate Jameson can also be used as a trinket holder, soap dish, holder for spoons and small kitchen utensils.
Note:
When ordering the plate, remember that it may differ from what you see in the photo. These are "rescued" bottles, which cannot be identical.
How to Use Lay Bottle Plates:
- It is important to wash them by hand only, avoiding sudden temperature changes. You can try washing them in a dishwasher on the top shelf, but it is better to refrain from this option.
- Do not place hot items on them (any hot food, oven-baked goods, wax candles, etc.)
- Remove the jute rope before washing, as it serves only as a decoration.
- Do not cut food on the plate. Scraping it with metal objects can cause damage since its glass has been deformed multiple times.
Specifications:
- Proportions: 12.4 x 4.7 inches (31.5 cm x 12 cm)
- Weight: 400 g
- Creating this beauty takes up to three working days.
Order the Jameson Plate, decorate your table with original tableware, make an impressive gift, and join the good cause of cleaning up the Zakarpattia region of Ukraine.
