Lay Bottle personally collects bottles from bars, restaurants, and residents of the Ukrainian Zakarpattia region. This way, they not only create an original product but also contribute to cleaning up the region from pollution. The craftsmen make glass plates in a special muffle kiln at 720 degrees Celsius (1328°F) or higher. Each plate takes its shape under the bottle's own weight, so each has its unique appearance.
Besides being used for various appetizers, cold cuts, or non-hot foods, the Becherovka Plate will also be a great place to store small items like jewelry, keys, etc. It will also become an attractive decoration to use with dishes in restaurants or bars.
When ordering the plate, it is important to remember that it may differ in color or shape from those shown in the photos. Since it is made from a "rescued" bottle, it can't be identical to other Lay Bottle plates.
How to use:
- Do not put hot items on it, whether it is mashed potatoes, baked goods from the oven, etc.
- Wash only by hand at a stable water temperature and avoid sudden temperature changes. You can also try washing it on the top rack of the dishwasher, but the manufacturer advises against this option.
- Do not cut food on the Becherovka Plate. Since its glass is re-deformed, it can be scratched when scraped with metal objects.
- The jute rope on the plate is only to serve as decoration, so it should be removed before washing.
