The badge is based on a sketch by Alla Horska, made in the 1960s to be later reproduced in stained glass and adorn the entrance hall of the Red Building of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Although the stained glass was soon destroyed, the famous artist’s drawing has been preserved in this small metal pin. The others who also took part in the creation of the meaningful sketch were Opanas Zalivakha, Halyna Sevruk, Lyudmila Semikina, and Halyna Zubchenko.
