Description
The limited Beyond the Waves Badge is an authentic accessory that is impossible to overlook. It was handmade by the craftsmen of the Ukrainian brand Yellow_Blue_UA in collaboration with famous Ukrainian artist Olga Haydamaka.
The artwork was inspired by the festive attire of women from the Odesa region, particularly the unique headpiece known as the “wreath with candies.” The "candies" were made from cotton wool wrapped in corrugated paper, and the paper flowers were adorned with blown glass beads. The fish depicted on the pin takes us to Odesa, a city traditionally associated with the sea. Fish, like water, symbolize life, purification, health, and fertility.
The pin embodies the unique culture of a remarkable Ukrainian region. It will make a stunning addition to your bag or a wonderful gift.
The badge is made of brass with elements of colored enamel. A butterfly clasp is used to ensure it stays securely in place.
