Description
Add authenticity to your look with the limited edition Bereghinya Badge. This piece is handmade by the artisans of the Ukrainian brand Yellow_Blue_UA in collaboration with Olga Haydamaka, a well-known Ukrainian artist.
The concept of the pin is to recreate and convey one of the ancient images of Ukrainian goddesses. Bereghinya (which means the guardian) was the goddess of all living things, fertility, nature, and goodness, according to the ancestors of modern Ukrainians. Later, the term began to refer to women who supported and protected the family hearth, folk traditions, and spirituality. The badge features the image of a Ukrainian woman dressed in festive attire in the style of Western Polissia, Ukraine.
To create this accessory, the artisans used brass with elements of colored enamel, and for secure fastening, a butterfly clasp was used. The size of the piece is 1.69 in (43 mm).
